    JEC Wheel Loader bucket design features:

    Austin designs and manufactures front-end loader buckets with volumes ranging from 5m3 to 40 m3 to suit every OEM make and model. Many designs are available, including heavy-duty hard rock, large volume coal, modular, linerless, or lightweight.

    Strategically placed high wear-resistant materials of varying thicknesses in key areas. Extended wear life in lieu of liners. This design means less site-based maintenance, saving labour costs, and minimising stored energy risk and loss of production due to downtime.

    Loading trucks at height poses risk of spillage over the rear of the bucket onto the prime mover potentially causing machine damage or operator injury. Our extended upper spill guard minimises the risk for safe operation.

    Our designs are customised for any specific application and to meet OEM specifications. This includes full interchangeability with standard componentry, design within machine operating envelopes and keeping within OEM maximum suspended load guidelines.

    JEC Face Shovel design features:

    • Replaceable internal bolt-on wear edges to the apron lower edge.

    Austin designs and manufactures face shovel excavator buckets that are compatible with all OEM machines. We work closely with OEMs to ensure our buckets are designed to operate within OEM specifications.

    Improvements to the rear structure have allowed for a heavy-duty main shell plate to be incorporated, providing superior strength and wear resistance.

    With additional material and Improvements to known failure areas, the JEC upgraded hinge casting option improves structural longevity.

    Additional structural ribbing has been incorporated into the base shell structure to strengthen the upper apron and resist impact damage to critical pivot areas.

    Replaceable bolt-on wear edges protect the apron moldboard (a known high wear area) from wear across the full bucket width and reduces the potential for jaw pivot failure due to uneven cylinder loading.

    Full interchangeability with standard componentry, design within machine operating envelopes, and keeping within OEM maximum suspended load guidelines.

    The optional high-impact spill guard Increases protection against spillage and damage to the machine crowd cylinder area.

    Tapered bucket sides create less drag in operation, and therefore substantially reduce wear, and improve penetration and cycle times.

    Replace the easily separable full lower assembly with a premanufactured or refurbished unit saving on costly downtime during major overhauls.

    Replace the modular panels on an “as needed” basis. Customise each panel to suit your operation or extend maintenance intervals.
